On Tuesday, October 10 from 7-10pm the Bridgewater Photo Club is pleased to have Alejandro Molina as their guest speaker for the evening. The Photo Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays every month from September to May. Meetings are held at the MARC on Leary Fraser Road. For more information on the guest speakers, field trips and photo contests visit the club’s website at Bridgewaterphotoclub.ca or email us at info@bridgewaterphotoclub.ca.

Alejandro was born in Veracruz, Mexico and at the tender age of 21 he began to travel the world falling in love with nature, humanity and photography. Through his work he earned a 1-year mentorship with leading Canadian Photographer Dave Brosha and was a keynote speaker at Brooke Shaden’s Promoting Passion Convention in 2016. He is also the house photographer for Camp Laughing Child International. More information on his work can be found on his web site amolinaphoto.com.

“I run an annual event called “Land and See” that brings together some of the most talented speakers that I stumble across and a whole horde of passionate photographers who want nothing more than to be inspired. Alejandro Molina was nothing short of the event’s ‘show-stopper’. He left everyone, the experienced speakers included, breathless, and a collective chill went across the audience every time he took the stage.” – Dave Brosha

Alejandro’s talk will be a narrative experience in his quest to find his voice as a photographer. It will be a conversation about the integration of the self and our body of work. He will also give a technical explanation on the execution of his ongoing portrait series and discuss his work at Camp Laughing Child, a therapeutic adventure camp for children living with HIV/Aids.
